What is a solid-color floor?

A solid-color floor is a single, uniform color across the whole surface.

It gives a clean, simple look: quiet when you want the floor to stay in the background, bold when you want a block of color to define the space.

Why people choose solid colors.

  1. One clean color

No pattern or texture, just an even color wall to wall.

  2. Quiet or bold

A neutral gray that disappears, or a strong color that defines the room.

  3. Simple to pair

Works with any walls, cabinets or equipment around it.

Where it works.

  • Home garages
  • Hallways and corridors
  • Workshops

Solid Colors or Flake?

Both work for garages. Solid color gives one clean, uniform look; flake is more forgiving because the texture hides dust and small marks.

Good to know.

  • A uniform color shows dust, tire marks and scuffs more readily than a textured flake floor, so it suits spaces that are cleaned regularly.
